This website concerns the potential redevelopment of the former Esso Petrol Filling Station  site, on Bath Road, Totterdown, Bristol.

This website seeks to inform (and consult with) local stakeholders to understand the key issues in the locality and to ascertain how the proposed development might address such concerns.

A Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) is a requirement of national and local planning legislation,  and is recognised as good practice for developers considering major development proposals which may impact a local area.

A stakeholder strategy has been devised to raise awareness in the local community of the potential redevelopment of the site.

The aim of the strategy is to inform the local community of proposals, and to gain an understanding of any issues which impact local people.  We intend to continually update this website to ensure that interested third parties are kept informed of the project as it develops and are able to provide the developer with feedback on any changes.

This website has been set up to make community and stakeholder engagement more accessible, interactive and auditable.

The system works by presenting information and inviting local people to register and comment online, and as the scheme progresses provide e-mail alerts and website updates.
